The Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón, held on Friday night the Gala de la Vela Anual, in which much of the trophies were delivered during the year. In Vela Ligera, the Spring, Summer, and Autumn and the Hispanic Trophy were distributed, in Cruise the Spring and Autumn Trophy, and the Trip to Two and Solitary, and in Radio Control the Trophy to the classes, Micro Magic and One Meter. All these tests organized by the Gijón Regatas Club during the current season that added many competition days.
The event was attended by the vice mayor of the City Council of Gijón, Angela Pumariega and the sports councilman, José Jorge Pañeda, the president of the Astorian Federation of Vela, Rafael Revilla, who were accompanied by the vice president of the Club, Javier Amado, the comandoro, Guillermo Marqués and the vocal, Pelayo Antuña.

The first act of the Alicante Nautical Week, exclusive to the Optimist class and with 164 participants, was closed with the absolute victory of Alejandro Valero (RCR Alicante), winner of the two sleeves. The podium was completed, second Izan Rogel (RCN Torrevieja) and third Alvaro Ramón-Borja (RCR Alicante). In the female category the victory was for Valentina Belso (RCN Torrevieja) followed by María Antonia Peñalver (CN Mar Minor) and Elsa Selles (CN Jávea).
In Sub13 the winners were Izan Rogel and Alexandra Youji Wang Liu (RCN Valencia) and in Sub11 the title was for Arturo Chumilla (RCN Torrevieja) and Adriana Cortina (RCN Valencia). In Optimist B the podium was formed by Arturo Chumilla (RCN Torrevieja), second Jorge Morant (RCR Alicante) and third Nicolás Castillo (CN Jávea). The first female was Julia Jiménez (RCR Alicante).
The Optimist class has another quote in the calendar of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante that already points to the Equalite 2025, an international race of this class of children that will be held in Alicante from 14 to 16 March 2025.
