With a new Olympic project in Galicia and the Santiago de la Ribera Armed Trophy

Patricia Suárez and Melania Henke start their new Olympic project in Galicia

The Galego Vela Center of Vilagarcía of Arousa on Thursday welcomed the presentation of the new Olympic project of the Viguesa Patricia Suárez and the Polar Melania Henke, which will sail under the guidelines of the Arousan Anton Paz with the look set in Los Angeles 2028. A good role in the next World Cup of the class, to be held in the waters of Sardinia, in Italy, in October 2025, is the first great goal that the team is marked. In the front, almost a year and a whole season of competition they hope to be able to make the most of.

The next few weeks the team will travel to Vilamoura, Portugal, in search of conditions different from those of the Arousa era to get level in all the wind and sea ranges. In January, after the Christmas parties, they will return to Vilagarcía to continue their preparation.

The Snipe Armed Trophy was presented at Real Club de Regatas de Santiago de la Ribera

The race, organized by the Real Club de Regatas de Santiago de la Ribera and to be held from 6 to 8 December, was presented this morning at the Club's Social Headquarters.

For this new delivery and less than a week for the official start of the competition, in which a total of 8 tests are planned, the number of registered ships is almost to the limit: 72 of the 75 maximum that the organization allows, represented in 11 countries: Belgium, Brazil, Cuba, France, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, the United States and Spain.
