The RCMS 2024 Sports Gala promised and so it was. In an act of pride the Real Club Marítimo de Santander has named Diego Botín Le Chever Deportista RCMS 2024, endorsed by a sports results this year out of the ordinary. His Olympic gold - along with Florian Trittel in the 49th class - is accompanied by the prestigious international recognition Rolex Sailor Of The Year, an impressive victory in the SailGP Circuit and bronze in the 49er World Cup... even though the decision might seem easy among the almost twenty RCMS Deportista nominees there are two world titles, five plates and two bronzes, as well as a continental title and an Olympic gold, among others.
The almost centenary Cantabrian club also highlighted the athletes Jane Abascal, Ñeti Cuervas- Mons, Javi Plaza, Pablo Santurde, Diego Botín, Claudia Carpenter, Gonzalo Gallo, Toño Piris, Carlos Ruigómez, Luis Arrarte, David Sales, Fernando Echávarri, Pietro Periotto and Guillermo Hidalgo, Alvaro del Arco and the team of J80 Eurobonds Aviko Newindfoods such as Gallos and Mini Gallos RCMS 2024.
