Sea Starlight and Real Nautical Vigo Club tourist agreement

José Antonio Portela, president of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, and Jaime Varela, manager of San Yago Charter, in the presidential office of the Nautuico Vigo
In an event held in the presidential hall of the centenary club, the olive club and the San Yago Charter company presented the Sea Starlight project, an attractive proposal in the field of nautical tourism that seeks to bring everyone closer to the experience of night navigation and astronomical observation in a light-free environment.
This project, which has an investment of 1.7 million euros from the Next Generation funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, has been designed to facilitate access to the beauty of the firmament on the Spanish coast. This project covers the entire Spanish coast and in Galicia is represented by San Yago Charter, the only nautical company of the autonomous community immersed in the Sea Starlight program.
José Antonio Portela, president of the Viguese Nautico, stressed the importance of the club being a reference point for such a project, which combines environmental concern with the tourist attraction of the Rías Baixas. For its part, Jaime Varela, manager of San Yago Charter, whose catamaran has the same name, explained in detail the activities they will offer, which include night sailing exits on sailboats certified by the Starlight Foundation and virtual reality sessions 360º, which are available from this very month of November.
