La regata Palma- Melilla - Palma A2 has sailed today from the Bay of Palma with a loose wind and the expectation that the situation will improve as the competition progresses. The fleet, composed of 33 vessels of the class Mini 6.50, has started the journey on the way to Cabrera; after leaving this first step by starboard, it will head for the island of Alboran, which must be left by port, and will continue from there to Melilla without other mandatory control points and with the restriction of not entering the territorial waters of Algeria.

The race, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma and the Real Club Marítimo de Melilla, has a 1,000-mile tour and is noticeable for the classification of the Mini Transat 2025. The output has taken place in low wind conditions, but it is expected to increase in the next few hours, encouraging the rapid development of the first stage.
