This weekend the sixth edition of the Golden Cup Badalona was held in Marina Badalona. It has brought together 70 boats and 350 regatists from 27 different clubs and 4 countries. The event, which in its five previous editions was focused on the fleet of long-race cruises, has also this year brought together the fleet of ships specialized in the technical races of barlovento- sotavento thanks to its designation, by the Catalan Federation of Vela, as the Catalonia Championship of cruises ORC. A third fleet, that of the class Mini 6.50, small boats designed for ocean navigation alone, were also called to the appointment for the same reason, as in the framework of the Golden Cup Badalona was also held the Championship of Catalunya of Mini 6.50.
