In Vigo de la mano del Real Club Nautico begins the City of Vigo de Optimist

Optimist, mainly from the Spanish and Lusitana fleets, splattered with units from Ireland and Mexico, make up the fleet participating in the 2024 edition of this race which is already a must-see for the best optimist of the Peninsula, in fact we must highlight the numerous fleet of Portugal, as well as the optimists from all the Cantábrico (Gijón, Santander, Getxo and San Sebastián) and other areas of the northern Mediterranean. The class J80 Spain closes a spectacular season

The 2024 season comes to an end for the class J80 Spain with successful participation in the different competitions that have been held throughout the territory with consolidated fleets in Andalusia, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Galicia, Valencia Community and Basque Country. The last event will be the J80 Sailing Series at the end of this year where the 12 best teams will be fighting for a weekend to meet the winner of the J80 Finals 2024.

Biobizz de José Azqueta del Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, has been proclaimed winner of the Ranking National 2024, Solintal de Armando Gutiérrez and Ignacio Camino del Marítimo de Santander has been second and Kouko de Dani Cuevas of the Real Club Marítimo de Marbella, third. In mixed category the winner has been the Dorsia Sailing of Nuria Sánchez Nomdedeu of the Real Club de Regatas Alicante and in Juvenil the Free Zone of David Madrazo del Marítimo Santanderino.
