Abanca Week: in A Coruña Nautical Festival table of the Spanish nautical federations

Nautica Digital Europe

Finally, the moderator of this very interesting and historic table will be the veteran Coruñés sports journalist Andres Ríos, attended by representatives of the national nautical federations of sailing, rowing, pyragüismo, surfing, motoronautics and nautical skiing. The electoral process has taken full account of this event, but most of the presidents already elected will attend, and in cases that are not possible for the electoral process... the delegates of the Spanish women in Galicia, who are the autonomous presidents.

The idea of taking the opportunity to pay tribute to the great Perico Sardina on the occasion of the Bureau of Presidents, but it has finally been chosen because the patriarch of the Spanish nautical press, the Grand Maese, is the subject of a great tribute of the Abanca Week, on the occasion of the celebration of the Regata Isabel Zendal, dedicated to the women's sailing at the national level and which is the true strong dish of the concept A Coruña Náutical Festival. In full event with a large part of our girls who mark the female elite of the Spanish candle of the moment, Perico will be honored, in one of the main clubs of our country: in the Real Club Nautico de La Coruña (*).

(*) Pedro Sardina has been the most prominent journalist in the support of the VELA FEMEMINA in Spain. You could count a lot of anecdotes and happened on this line... but let's remember an essential. Sardina in the 1990s was one of the creators of the already prestigious Ladies Cup that was supported by ABC and Carlolina Herrera, as part of the Prince of Asturias Trophy. The MRCY of Baiona had managed to have the fleet of the Figaro that it has today, and at the initiative of the late great Commodore of Mount Real Istanbul Durán and our Pedro Sardina, the idea has been marked by a trend in our country. That is why it is very good to promote a tribute to the Grand Maese of the nautical sports press and one of the most clear defenders of the women's sailing in Spain, from a forum as important as the City of La Coruña and what it represents for the sailing.
