Fifteen female crews completed the first day of the V EKP Women's Cup in the J80 class, which also represents the great end of the Iberdrola League, in the Vizcaina waters of the interior Abra.

The leading team of this event is the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia formed by Elena de Tomás, Rosario de Tomás, María Perelló and Obdulia Fernández de Ybarra. The crew of the Valencian club (Solgreen Sailing Team) achieved three first posts and a quarter in the red group, as the teams were divided into three groups of five.

Second is the team of the Canary Federation with the same points (7), thanks to its first two posts, a third and a second. The third position is occupied by the Arenal Nautical Club, leader of the Iberdrola League, with 8 points. In the Abra the girls of the RCN Port Pollenca and quintas were classified, with 9 points, the vizcains of the Surne of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club (Carmen Galdós, Carmen Gomeza, Nerea Álvarez, Camila Rojas and Arantxa Sellhorn). The teams of Gran Canaria, Calpe, Altea, Arrecife, Monte Real Club Yates de Baiona, San Sebastián (1), Santander, San Sebastián (2), Madrid and Getxo Bela Eskola are then classified. This Sunday it is expected to hold two tests per group to establish the five ships that will fight the Medal Race that will decide the victors.
