Abanca Week: Madrilean Riders dominate Wake Nationals

The representation of the nautical clubs of the Community of Madrid, has been proclaimed the winner of the absolute medallion of the Spanish Championships of Wakeborad-Wakesurf, that with the Grand Prix Receptación of Ourense in and the April Oils in play and immersed in the Abanca Week, has been held at the Pista de Barra de Miño, in the Concello of Coles adjacent to the capital Ourense.

The Organization has been in charge of the Spanish and Galician Federations, chaired respectively by the Asterian Paco Fernández and the Galician Jacobo Pereira... who have achieved a new record of participation in a national of these specialities... in which they have also been quoted more than 60 riders of Galicia, Castile and León, Madrid, Extremadura, Castilla Mancha, Andalucía, Catalonia, Valencia and Baleares, as well as several competitors from Switzerland and Ukraine, among other countries... also to highlight the great team of judges plagued by trenches with international rank: as president of the Ukrainian judges, as the Tamarana and the Tamarana, Carlos, and the Nábatia.

In the Spanish Wakeboard- Trophy of Ourense, the Madrid Riders were made with five oros, the remaining one for Galicia. The winners Juan Carlos Camafreira, Tadzik Malinowski, Lara Martínez, Aaron González and Martín Druide for the Community of Madrid, and the Vigués Hugo Bugarín who competes for the Dumies of Ourense the gold medal for the Galician Wakesurf, in the junior category of men. The rule of the capitalists was overwhelming, leaving the podium medals, 18 in total, only the Galician gold, two plates (Nicolás Gil del Dumies and the mallorcan Peter Voroyev)... and four bronzes... that were two for Catalonia: Ivan Peña and Moritzx Freese; as well as another for the Malagasy Ulises Ceballos.

In the Wakeseurf- Trophy Oils April, to highlight the great performance of the Catalan representation, which achieved no less than 3 bikes, followed by Ukraine with two, completing Switzerland and Galicia with one gold each.

The next stage of the Abanca Week in the waters of Sanxenxo, will be on Sunday, October 6, the International Trophy Vila de Portonovo of Kayak de Mar- Grand Prix Receptación de Pontevedra, which organize the Club of Piragüismo Portonovo, the Nautico de Portonovo, the Olívico and the Maritime of Vigo, with the support of the Federations of Galicia, Spanish and the International of Canoeing.

2024-09-28: Abanca Week: the National of Wakeboard and Wakesurf began in Ourense

The Riders of the federations of Madrid, Catalonia and Galicia dominate in the double championship of Spain of wakeboard and wakesurf, which is immersed in the Abanca Week with the Grand Prix of Ourense of Nautical Sports, is being held in the Pista de Barra de Miño, in Coles in the province of Ourense; organized by the Club Dumies de Ourense and the Club Marítimo de Vigo, with the support of the Galician and Spanish Nautico-wakeboard ski.

The competition will end on Sunday with a day that will begin at 9: 00 in the morning, to conclude at 5: 00 in the afternoon; after which will be held at the Gadafi on foot of the track, the award-sharing, which will be chaired by the Vice President of the Rechtación, César Fernández, who will be accompanied by the mayor of Coles, Manuel Rodríguez, the President of the Spanish Federation of Skiquí Náutico-Wakeboard Paco Fernández, and that of the Galician Jacobo Pereira.

On the day of Saturday much public that offered on the spectacular Orensana track a great atmosphere, which was able to witness in its first part the semi-finals of wakeboard that had at stake the Oils Aprilos: in the master category, the Madrid Juan Carlos Xamafreitas was imposed, followed by the also capital Hugo Ximeno and the Coruñés Alfonso Rey (who competes for the Nautico San Telmo).

In the last hour of Saturday the girls of the Open category of Wakeboard competed, with the victory of the favorite, the current European subchampion, the Barcelona Noah Tamaral, the second also Catalan Lidia Rey and the third Majorcan Iciar Priede.
