The Real Club Náutico de Barcelona hosts the Barcelona Maxi Yacht Regatta 2024, which will take place from 24 to 29 September in the waters of the City Condal. This outstanding event is part of the Premier Regatta Series, a series of competitions that take place in parallel to the thirty-sixth edition of the America Cup, which organizes America's Cup Events. The schedule of the race will be developed from Wednesday to Sunday, with a maximum of six tests that will combine different modalities. The program includes two coastal races (one long and one short), and two days of barlovento-sotavento competition, with two tests per day. Friday is reserved as a day of rest or adjustment, depending on weather conditions. The event will culminate on Sunday, September 29, with the afternoon award ceremony at the Race Village of the Real Club Nautico in Barcelona.

The official training race of Valencia 52 Super Series Royal Cup tested all the systems for the last event of the season. 13 ships from nine countries will fight until Saturday in a ten-test program that will define the winner of the Royal Cup and the absolute champion of the current season's specialty. Gladiator leads the provisional with eight points of advantage over Quantum Racing powered by American Magic and 28 over the champion 2023, Platoon Aviation.
The South African Phoenix and the British Alegre won the two training races played as a general essay of the Valencia 52 Super Series Royal Cup, which will be held from Tuesday 24 and until Saturday 28 in Valencia waters. These three guest teams will face in semi-finals the Rossa Moon, American Magic and Athena Pathway (Ineos Britannia), which have been the three classified from the Pool A (major American Cup challenge subsidiaries). The format of the semi-finals determines four fleet races between these six classified teams, which are expected to be all held tomorrow Tuesday. At the end of these four sleeves, the first two classified will face in the big final of the Youth America Cup, which will be held on Thursday in a single match.
