First leaders in the start of the competition in the waters of El Puerto de Santa María, where the wind accompanies in a premiere in which highlight Curro and Blanca Manchón, Alejandro Selma and Eloísa Tarancón

With winds of 13 to 17 knots of intensity from the south-south-west on Tuesday have started in the bay of Cadiz the World Sailing Championships in the Raceboard class. The windsurfing event organized by the Sevilla Nautico Club until next Saturday, which brings together more than a hundred regatists from 12 countries, has met the expectations at its start, completing the program on its first day with the completion of the three planned tests.

The fleet has been able to enjoy an opening to the large and without incidents in the waters of El Puerto de Santa María, with exits divided into two groups in a race field located in front of the beach of Valdelagrana. In this sense, the male Senior and Master have opened the day around 13: 00, followed by female and sub21, which compete together, in both groups with trapezoidal routes.

As for the results, the first male absolute leader of the Raceboard World Championship is Curro Manchón (Club Náutico Sevilla), with two first positions and a second previous in the start of the day. The current world champion Master is followed by his club partner Borja Carracedo, winner of the initial manga and who accumulates 5 points (1-2-2), for the 12 of the Slovak Patrik Pollak, third with 4-3-5 partials.

In the female category, the Olympic Blanca Manchón (Club Náutico Sevilla) has given no choice when adding the first three wins of the week to lead a fleet in which the sub21 of the organizing club Eloísa Tarancón (3-2-2) and Olivia Sánchez (2-3-3) follow.

And among the boys sub21, the division of protagonism between the premises of the Nautical Club Puerto Sherry Alejandro Selma (1-2-1) and Arturo Arauz (2-1-3), completing the podium the Héctor Pérez (C.N. San Antonio) with 4-3-2.
