Junior Kitesurf World Championship in Tarifa waters
The beach of Valdevaqueros in Tarifa crown the new champions in the Twintip and Surfboard modalities, including the Andalusian Noah Nicolás and Rafael Montero.
The world-wide event leaves two new World Champions, a subchampion and a third place on the Andalusian medallion, with an entirely Andalusian podium in the Surfboard Sub 19 discipline, in which Noah Nicolás of the CD Kitesurf Valdevaqueros wins, followed by Domingo Moreno of the CD Explora Water Sports Tarifa, and Javier López of the CD Windsurf Welba. The other World Championship is Rafael Montero from the Kitesurfing Estepona CD.
The Tarifeño Noah Nicolas is one of the most famous Andalusian athletes in recent years, taking a prominent place in the honor of the Andalusian Federation of Vela in the last two seasons. In 2022, Nicholas proclaimed himself the Spanish champion of Kite Expression and only a year later, the rider of the CD Kitesurf Valdevaqueros managed to crown the world champion in the category of Surfboard U19 on the GKA Kite World Tour, going directly to lead the male ranking.
For his part Rafael Montero, 12-year-old Spanish champion and 16-year-old world champion, also holds a prominent place in the Honour Table, awarded in the last year as subchampion Sub 19 at the GKA World Rking and is third in the senior category of Spain.

The Smeralda 888 Class competes in the framework of the Premier Regatta Series in Barcelona waters
The race of the Smeralda 888 class was held in the waters of Barcelona, within the framework of the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup, with the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona as host. The Smeralda competed in the sixth Smeralda 888 International Championship of the 2024 calendar. The team "Go My Love" took the victory, followed by "Giada" in second place and "Beda" in third position.
The race of Smeralda 888 coincided with the race field of the Puig Vela Classica Barcelona and the Round Robin from Louis Vuitton America's Cup.
