The historic Spanish city will host the Iomca fleet of flying ships and sustainability activities for visitors of all ages

At the end of next summer, the city of Cartagena... the historic Cartago Nova of the Cartaaginese, will become the Spanish scale of The Ocean Race Europe, an event that will lead to the most innovative and exciting fleet of ships. The scale will also have numerous land-based activities focusing on the sustainability and health of the oceans for all audiences to be developed in the Port of Cartagena.

With a splendid historical past covering more than 3,000 years of history, Cartagena has been the scene of some of the most amazing passages in Europe's history. One of its highest exponents is the Roman Theatre, built at the end of the 1st century BC, in the time of Emperor Augusto. With capacity for 6,000 spectators, it has been completely rehabilitated and is a monumental jewel in the city.
