The SailGP Circuito officializes that it will be in Brazil in the 2025 course... being the Bay of Rio the chosen

Rio de Janeiro will host the first SailGP event in Brazil. The Enel Rio Sail Grand Prix will take place on 3 and 4 May 2025 in Guanabara Bay, with the Sugar Bread and the iconic Rio horizon as a backdrop.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist Martine Grael has been selected as the pilot of the Brazilian SailGP team, being the first woman to play this role since the creation of the competition in 2019. This is a historic milestone for both SailGP and Brazilian sailing. The CEO of SailGP, Sir Russell Coutts, has celebrated the appointment of Grael, qualifying the Brazilians as - a serious competitor - in the 2024 / 2025 season.

The Ibiza JoySail continues to increase its prestige and has before it the 2024 edition: from 19 to 22 September

Ibiza JoySail has become the focus of the end of the Mediterranean summer. The superyacht race, promoted by STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza, is growing year after year and since the last edition it is an invitational race, which in 2024 will have 20 top-level superyachts, the maximum established by the Organization.

The XIII Regata Villa de Gijón de Vela Ligera ended in asturian waters

Marta Torres in ILCA 6, Pedro Nuñez in ILCA 4, Neco del Castillo in Optimist and Guzmán Felipe Tinturé and Pablo García-Bernardo in RS Feva, winners of the XIII Regata Villa de Gijón de Vela Ligera. In this tenth edition, they competed many ships from all over the cantabria, with 56 optimist, 30 ilca6, 30 ilca4 and 5 fevas, that is more than 120 ships... that is not bad at all. Eva Diez continues to work a lot and well on the base candle at the Astur de Regatas de Gijón.
