52 Super Series Puerto Portals: a luxury date for 13 giants

The event will bring together 13 teams from Germany, Brazil, the United States, France, Hong Kong, England, South Africa, Thailand and Turkey
The incorporation of the Brazilian Crioula and the French Teasing Machine, as well as the premiere of the new ship of the Turkish of the Provizza Team, will make up an impressive fleet of 13 teams from nine countries that will compete from August 27 to September 1 for the Port Portals 52 Super Series Sailing Week, the fourth event of this demanding World Sailing Circuit.
After two very disputed races in Newport, Rhode Island, the Circuit returns to Europe with an event in Puerto Portals, the most visited headquarters for the 52 Super Series since its birth in 2012. In front of the season's provisional is Tony Langley's Gladiator, recently crowned TP52 World Champion at the Rolex TP52 World Championship. After three events won by three different teams (Provizza, Vayu and Gladiator), the fleet reaches Mallorca reinforced with two new programs and showing an unpublished equality that guarantees the show in the bay of Palma.
After finishing subchampion 2023 for the minimum and winning the first race of 2024 in Palma in early May, Protenzza was absent on the two American dates as he advanced in the construction of his new ship. Its Vrolijk can be described as an evolution of its successful Providenza X, while the Buttons released by Alegre and Platoon Aviation at the beginning of the season represent a completely new hull design. The expert Turkish flag team aspires to become familiar with its new mount faster and more easily.
