The Rías Alta Regata began with a stage in which the wind was absent and was too tired with the end in Laxe
The first stage of the 51 Rías Altas de Cruises Regata, organized the Royal Herculino Nautical Club between La Coruña and the port of Laxe became eternal for the fortnight of ships that took the exit at 12.50. It was 35 miles but the last cruise to enter the Laxe arrival did it at 11.30.
Two are the classes of the participants and in ORC 0-1-2 the classification is the head of the Lampaix de Antonio Rios (Nautico de Cabanas), followed by the Gómez Mostly de Andrés Soto (Nautico de La Coruña) and which returns to the competition after a long repair of the ship. The third provisional square is for the Jabadaa of Roberto Bermudez de Castro (Náutico de La Coruña). As regards the 3-4 ORC, the first is the Figaro 55 of Jesus Pintos (Nautico de La Coruña); the second is the Golfiño de José Naya (Nautico Ria de Ares) and the third is the 3-D Atlantic Printing of Guillermo Blanco, of the Nautico.
Yesterday at 1305 hours it began in the Basque town of Getxo, the Cantábrica Regata, organized jointly by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club and the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón. On the 130-mile journey between Getxo and Gijón, the first to arrive was the Taxus Environment, and is second in the general. The second to cross the line of arrival has been the Starfighter, patrolling by Jesus Suárez at 32.18... once the time compensation has been made the Starfighter has been the fastest ship of the stage and is placed at the front of the classification. The third square was obtained by the BullBox, by Luis Noguera. In the Cruise class I, the Kaiser of Alvaro Alegría leads this group.
Tomorrow at 16: 00 the competition will resume, a cane tour in front of the beach of San Lorenzo, same stage as on Sunday, in the closing sleeve that will begin at 13: 00.
