The award was held and was attended by the mayor of Tui, Enrique Cabaleiro; the Secretary Xeral for or Sport of the Xunta de Galicia, José Ramón Lete; the Provincial Deputy, Roberto Álvarez; and the President of the Royal Galician Federation of Motonautica, José Fernández. During the course of the event, tribute was paid to the pilot Francisco Pereira, director of the Federation in appreciation of his dedication; and to the young Moañés pilot, Leo Balca, who piloted an GT-15 between trial and manga, as an exhibition, as one of the great promises of the Galician motoronautics.
