Ebury, Pinto Tercera and Plis Play V end up undefeated the first day of the TabarcaVela Alicante

The twenty-eighth edition of the TabarcaVela- Alicante City Council was launched on Friday with the entire fleet in the water except for the women's category Go Out Consulting that will do it on Saturday. Three ships finished undefeated the first day, Ebury Sailing Team (ORC 2), Pinto Tercera (ORC 4) and Plis Play V (Dragon).

It was clear that the two Swan 42 would be the protagonists in the class ORC 1, the April Pez Bat of José María Meseguer is the first leader, although tied to the point with the Andalusian Seabery- MarAmigo de Basilio Marquínez and that patronea Nacho Zalvide. These two twin ships promise an intense weekend. The Seabery- MarAmigo won the first test and was second in the second and the April Fish a second and a first, with which both ships arrived tied to three points after the first day. The third square is occupied by the Torreviejense Trabuco of Francisco Martínez that has made two third.

The third Pinto of Eugene Díaz in ORC 4 closed the first day with two first positions. From there he is followed by the Bat Enewtec with a second and a third place and in third place is placed Chrono de Vladislav Goryachev.

The unique Dragon class also entered the scene, where the Plis Play V patrolled by Vicente García and with Olympic medalist Nuno Barreto and Nano Negrín won the three sleeves of the day without giving choice to the Plis Play III patrolled by the Portuguese Vasco Empis, second and the Plis Play II by Miguel Campos.

On the mid-day of Saturday the ORC classes from 1 to 4 will fight the traditional return to the island of Tembra of 31 miles. While the ORC 5 will play a 22-mile coastal tour off the coast of Alicante.

The Go Out Consulting female class will also premiere with six level crews, where the Dorsia de Núria Sánchez Nomdedeu defends the title obtained in 2023.

The mixed teams of the Royal Nautical Watering Club champion and subchampion of the J80 World Cup of La Rochelle

The team of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia ISER Smart Energy, patronized by Manuel de Tomás, was a few days ago winning in the mixed category in the World Cup of J80, in addition to the tenth place in the absolute general. A meeting took place in La Rochelle, under challenging weather conditions and a high level of the teams involved. Félix Oter (RCN Torrevieja) has been the first in male category and first in SUB13, in addition to getting the second place. In its total locker there are 10 points, after a partial of 3-2-3-3-2. Enzo Vinal has concluded in the absolute third general, second in SUB13, with 14 points, highlighting two seconds placed as best partials, while Aaron Triviño, both of the Torrevieja RCN, has hung the bronze, being the first in SUB16.
