The Sail Team BCN successfully completes its first training with the AC40

The Sail Team BCN, a team that will represent Spain at the Copa América de jóvenes y de mujeres, has completed its first training sessions with an AC40, the sailing boat with which it will compete so much in the competition that will take place this summer in Barcelona waters.

The 2024 edition of the Ibiza JoySail has reached the maximum capacity of participants with 20 teams and the official inscriptions for this unique and fun superyacht race that will be held in Marina Ibiza from 19 to 22 September have already been closed.

There are six Southern Wind superyachts, including two SW96, Ammonite and the most recent, Liberty, launched in spring, as well as the SW108 Hybrid Gelliceaux, launched in autumn 2023 and won his class in Saint Barths in spring. The SW 105 Kiboko competed in the 2023 JoySail Ibiza, while the SW-RP 90 All Smoke returns for the third time. The SW-RP 100 Morgana will participate for the first time.

Topper World Championship brings together 174 ships of this kind in the Minor Sea

The Minor Sea is reerected as an international race field with the celebration of the Topper class sailing world championship. This nautical competition of light vessels will concentrate, from Saturday 20 to Friday 26 July, more than 170 ships from all over the world in the CAR Region of Murcia, Los Alcázares.

This World Cup, for which the Murcia Region Sailing Federation is responsible, is supported by the Autonomous Community and is scheduled for the topper 4.2 and topper 5.3. They are ships that weigh 43 kilograms and are considered as the strongest and lighter sailing ships to handle. The Topper class sailing world will be attended by regatists from eight countries: the United Kingdom, China, Ireland, Malta, Switzerland, Brazil, Australia and Spain, with the first three registered delegations being the largest. In total, 500 people related to this competition arrive in the Murcia Region.
