The Youth World of 49er, 49er FX and Nacra 17 begins in the river of Arousa

Tomorrow, the fleet will finally be thrown into the water to fight the first tests from 12: 00 hours, which can be seen from the pier of Vilaxoán and the dam of Ferrazo of Vilagarcía of Arousa.

They will be divided into two areas of race located in the heart of Arousa and with a competition program that includes a maximum of three tests per day until Sunday, when the new champions and champions of the youth world of 49er, 49er FX and Nacra 17 will be crowned.

In the 49th class there will be no lack of, among others, the current subchampions of the youth world, the Maltese Richard Schultheis and Youenn Bertin; the Swedish crew formed by Marius Westerind and Edvard Bremer, who sealed the bronze on the intercontinental date of last season; and the team formed by Arousan Jacobo García and the current youth European champion of the class, the vineyard Jaime Wizner.

For their part, in 49er FX all the looks are put on the title's defenders, the French Manon Peyre and Clara-Sofia Stamminger. In front of them, teams such as those made up of the Italian Sofia Giunchiglia and Giulia Schio, who were third in the last Youth World, or the Poles Gabriela Czzska and Hanna Rajchert, who finished at only five points from the podium, promise not to make it easy. The team formed by the Viguesa Stella Enríquez and the Marta Cardona ballet will certainly be another of the crews to consider.

Among the teams on the ground in Nacra 17, the British Theo and Jasmine Williams have the experience of being sexted in the last Youth World Championship and France, with a powerful fleet of five crews, also points to fighting for the intercontinental title. For their part, the Spanish Daniel and Nora García, champions of the youth world of Nacra 15 in 2023 and of Europe in 2024, promise to fight to the end for being among the leaders.
