The course of sailing in Santander and Cantabria: Passion for the sea and sport, organized by the Cultural Association Plaza Porticada in the UIMP within the framework of the Creators Santanderinos and Cantabros, will take place in Santander on July 17 and 18.

The sport of La Vela is the protagonist of one of the seminars of the UIMP thanks to the course organized by the Cultural Association Plaza Porticada and the director of the initiative Jane Abascal with Cesar Obregon. Two days of dissemination that will travel the evolution of the sail in Santander and Cantabria, and in which the Real Club Marítimo de Santander has much to say.

The Olympic medalists and honor partners of the RCMS Jane Abascal, Toño Gorostegui, Fernando Echávarri or the Olympic diploma Santiago Ópez- Vázquez will begin colloquium at several round tables with themes as exciting as their careers did the medal or the development of the Olympic categories, while the Olympic Berta Betanzos will focus on the role of women in the JJ.OO.
