The Guaguanco IV of Thierry Lallemand is the first winner of the ORC A Dos high race that opened the 28 TabarcaVela-Diputación de Alicante, with a 98-mile tour, with departure from the Real Club Náutico de Valencia and arrival at the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, and that has premiered in this year's edition of the Alicantina race. He was accompanied on the podium by the O'Marylou- Marina Ropes of Jesus of Michael, second and the Computer of Rufino Cardo, third.
The fleet left on Saturday 13 July at 11.25 a.m. from Valencia and the first ship, the Guaguanco IV crossed the arrival line opposite the extension of the Levante de Alicante Pier at 5 hours 51 minutes early on Sunday 14 July, after an inverted time of 18 hours and 26 minutes. The boat of the Nautical Club of Altea won this way, in real time as well as in compensation, reaffirming its favorite vitola, as last winter already won the 38 edition of the 200 Mile A Two race.
The two ships that followed the winner's stela were the Computer and the O'Marylou-Marina Ropes, who sailed hand-to-hand during almost the entire tour in the fight for the second position. Although in real time the Computer arrived 40 minutes ahead of the O'Marylou, at 8 hours and 2 minutes in the morning, it would finally be the ship of the Nautical Club International Marina of Torrevieja, who would rise with the second position in the general with a compensated time of 1 hour, 45 minutes and 43 seconds behind the Guaguaco IV. While the Computer did it 2 hours, 25 minutes and 25 seconds from the winner. The Trebol Queen II of Arturo García Pallarés and the Pinto Tercera de María Dolores Martínez, both of the Real Regatas Club of Cartagena, at this point, said to leave in the first hour of the morning as they fell into a calm area, thus taking direct direction to the Real Regatas Club of Alicante.
