The waters of Valencia offered ideal conditions in the inaugural day of the 25th Trophy of the Queen, hosting an international fleet of 130 ships. The race began with a clear control of the foreign fleet, highlighting the Italians, Germans and Argentines in the first positions of different classes.
In the class ORC 0, the Italian Lisa R. de Giovanni di Vincenzo was imposed with two consecutive victories. On board its Ker46, di Vincenzo overtook a very competitive fleet, including the spectacular Swan50 of Barcelona's Pablo Garriga, which was placed in second position with two seconds.
The three T52 ', Urbania, Aifos and Blue Carbon, although they sailed forward in real time, were relegated to the third, fourth and fifth place respectively when applying the compensated time.
