Gran Canaria, chosen world championship headquarters of Kite Big Air
Due to its exceptional wind conditions around the world for kitesurf practice, Gran Canaria has been selected by the Kitesports World Association, to celebrate the world championship in the Big Air mode, from July 9 to 13 at the Tenefé Salinas, one of the most well-known spots in the kiteboarding world for its strong wind rackets, where the elite of this spectacular Big Air mode will compete at the last stop of the world tour of this discipline.
The Qatar Airways GKA Big Air Kite World Championships Gran Canaria 2024 will be the second major event of the kitesurf season with the Big Air mode, after holding a first stop in France to get the Big Air world titles.
