As much as I think and as much as I turn around, the other sailing athlete always comes to mind. When the RFEV budgets are set up the most important game is dedicated to the Olympic classes and a large part to their younger sisters who take you there. There is no doubt that the ultimate objective is the Olympism, but do we forget the rest?

This is the sailing federation, and within the sailing there are other classes and groups that historically feel black sheep within this family. No one can hide or ignore that the Laser, despite being the ship that is currently Olympic if you want to sail individually, to most of our boys and let's not say girls, comes big, let's not forget that although our race and our children are usually higher than us, the Spaniards on foot are not physically like the Nordic.

So can we ask our girls to look like a built-in closet? Taking into account the ages that are going on and what you like to brag about as a physicist, no! then what happens?... we lose athletes that could be or are very good.

Are there no other classes that would perfectly serve as a trampoline? Well, there are, and when time goes by and our young people are more developed, we'll see, but we have to keep them sailing. And I get over the head of Europe, a beautiful individual ship perfectly valid for smaller girls and boys but not belonging to the Coca Cola group is clear.

Just show them interest, ask what can be helped, listen to their opinions, tell them we are with you, this is your house, the house of the candle and you are also important.
