The third national meeting held in several provinces of Castilla y León consolidates the operational structure and expands the sustainable nautical destinations of the CCF Network throughout the national territory

Puerto Sotogrande, a founding member of the Network of Coastal and River Cruises of the Sustainable Nautical Destinations of Spain (CCF Network), has participated actively in the third meeting of work and momentum held in various cities of Castilla and León.

Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande has been represented at this work meeting by Miguel Ángel Diez, managing director of Puerto Sotogrande; Antonio Tejada who is the communication director of PST and managing director of Fundación de Navega; and Mariela Fernández-Bermejo, project coordinator of the CCF Network for Puerto Sotogrande.

According to Miguel Ángel Diez, the days began on June 12 in Aranda de Duero, continued on June 13 in Peñafiel and Medina de Riyeco, and ended on June 14 in Toro. During these working sessions, crucial issues for the development and sustainability of sustainable nautical destinations in Spain were addressed, for example, 20 pilot destinations have been generated, each of which will develop specific routes to be certified by the CCF Network to ensure a high quality, sustainable, low-environmental and technologically advanced tourism product.

The evaluation of the progress of the project made it possible to monitor compliance with the established milestones. In addition, various portals necessary for the operational and communication projection of the CCF Network have been presented and made available to members. These efforts are aimed at strengthening the structure of the Network itself and consolidating it as a reference point in sustainable nautical tourism in Spain.

The participation of Puerto Sotogrande in this meeting reaffirms the commitment of this marina to the sustainability and promotion of responsible nautical tourism. The CCF Network continues its path to consolidation and expansion, with the aim of offering exceptional and sustainable nautical experiences that benefit local communities and attract visitors interested in Spain's natural and cultural wealth.
