The season of Kayak Polo has come to an end in the first senior male division, the first female Iberdrola division and the second female senior division, and the calculator has to be taken out to proclaim the champions.

Four are the tests between the weekend of 23-24 March in the Gaditan Lake of Arcos de la Frontera, until the last weekend in the reservoir of Pontilon de Castro- Verdudo, in the province of Pontevedra.

These competitions have come to an end, but there is still Kayak Polo for the second and third male division, which will end in the first and second week of July.

In the first senior male division, it was the Club Vallebeautiful Retiro who proclaimed himself as the league champion for the fourteenth consecutive time. He did so through a great final sprint, the Retiro managed to rise with the first two positions in the Verdudo tournaments corresponding to the third and fourth deliveries.

The Vallebeautiful Retiro has finished the season with 174 points, the same as the Real Club Náutico Castellón, but thanks to better positions in the tournaments (two wins, a second place and a quarter) they have managed to raise the title of champions. At the end of the fourth tournament, those in the capital managed to impose the Kayak Polo Málaga Sports Club for 5-2, signing a fourth almost immaculate tournament, where only the Malagasy squadron was able to draw a tie at the party of the group phase held on Saturday.

The other side of the coin is that of the two clubs that have certified their descent to the second division. This is the case of the Club Picassent Kayak Polo and the Club Deportivo Basico Piragua Madrid, we say and novies respectively.

In the first division of Iberdrola, it was the Club Alaquàs Kayak Polo who rose with the victory after winning in the final to the Pinatarense Sports Association for 2-1. In the general classification, the tie between the two clubs indicates the maximum equality of the competition that, finally, had to be used the criteria of untying to proclaim the champion of the Club Alaquàs that achieved 178 points and two events won. It has therefore been the difference of goals that has decanted the balance for the Valencian team.

In the final position of the women's championship he finished the Club Deportivo Basico Piragua Madrid which, as in the male category, certifies its descent to second division. The Madrid squadron dreamed after the third test with a possible permanence, but has finally stayed five points from the double tie that is in the fifth position between the Copacabana Club of Piragüismo and the Kayak Club Alberche.

In the second senior female division, the Kayak Polo Málaga Sports Club has achieved the promotion to the first Iberdrola division after winning in the three tournaments and adding 105 points. The Costa del Sol club has not given its rivals options, leaving in second position, with 92 points, the Oxio Usera Pira Basic Sports Club. In this last tournament of the season in Verducido, the final was played by the Malagueñas before the Madrileñas de Usera, being the final result more than forceful 12-3, to certify his well-deserved ascent to the top female category of the Spanish Kayak Polo.
