An early warning is your best lifesaver, the motto of the Summer Security Campaign in the Nautical of Recreo... with the projection of a series of short videos with tips of professionals from the nautical sector and experts in nautical safety, has started this morning the presentation of the Summer Campaign for safety in the recreational nautical of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, promoted by the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine and Maritime Rescue, in collaboration with the Civil Guard and the National Association of Nautical Enterprises.
Carlos Sanlorenzo, legal and institutional adviser to ANEN, spoke on behalf of the Association, thanking the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy and the Maritime Salvamento for the opportunity that it is for Anen to collaborate one more year in the campaign. He then referred to data from the nautical market, which after the exponential growth of the 3 years - post-pandemic - reflects a situation back to normal. In contrast to the fall in the sales of recreational boats especially in the segment of boats of less than 6 meters, the consumption of nautical is growing year after year as shown by the 70,000 new nautical titles issued last year, Carlos Sanlorenzo explained.
