Good performance of the Abra Maritime Optimt Team in Laredo, in the Cantabria Championship
Three teams of Regatists of the Optimist class of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte del Marítimo del Abra glittered this weekend at the Cantabria Championship by Interclub teams held in Laredo.
In the waters of the bay of this beautiful Cantabrian villa he won the team of Nicolás Bastard, Laura Angulo and Lola Criado, along with Íñigo Jáuregui - this group of the Basque Federation with three regatists of the Club- and was second that of Andrea Periotto, Andrea Criado, Telmo Usman and Bruno-varri. Catalina Ópez-Linares, Natalia Miguvarri, Juana Bastard and Jaime Arriola ended up in third place.

The Optimist class was the most difficult, Alma Pérez with first and two seconds was the winner of the Trophy, tied to points with, Marta Simal who on this occasion had to settle for the second square. The third position was for Pablo Duran.

The Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo has organized this weekend, the Galician Sailing Championship of Radio Control, Class 1 Metro, an event that has also been an international Open thanks to the sponsorship of the Carlos I Silgar Hotel. The Galician title has been taken by Tomás Pérez, representative of the Nautico Club of Boiro, after leading the international meeting during the first day the Portuguese Fernando Lacerda, of the Nautico Club Povoense, which has finally been second in the general.
In the two days of competition, the Chief Officer, Carlos Sardiña, has managed to validate up to 30 tests, the first ones executed from the main pants of the port of Sanxenxo to the outside and the second one to the inside, against the one known as Playa de Panadeira... with this volume of tests have been able to apply up to four discards to the worst partial results. This Sunday it ended in the waters of Punta Umbria, Huelva, the Spanish Windsurfer Championship and does so with the triumph of the Andalusian windsurfer Nacho Pérez Lago, representing the RCN of La Línea de la Concepción. The race organized by the legendary Real Club Marítimo and Tennis de Punta Umbria in the year of its 75th anniversary... and has managed to concentrate half a hundred Riders.
Pérez Lago won the highest national title only a month after raising the Spanish Cup of the class in the waters of Ibiza, where he was also the best Spanish in a very demanding fleet, surpassed only by the Italian Andrea Marchesi. The linense now achieves the absolute triumph and the Spanish championship and is confirmed as a reference of the modality in our country. It also has Andalusian color the subchampionship, which Fernando Lamadrid Rodriguez gets, in his case representing the CN Puerto Sherry. Lamadrid came to lead the championship after the first day and both have kept an intense and exciting hand-to-hand until the outcome, putting a lot of distance with the third ranked, the CV player Blanes, Jordi Bosch. Among the top ten are also classified one of the artists of the championship and the booming of the fleet, Borja Melgarejo, under the colors of the organizing club, which occupies the top9 lashed by an off-line with maximum penalty in one of the tests.
