Victory of Yamamay in the Santander- Getxo Regata

The Santander- Getxo Regata was won by the Yamamay, the absolute winner... by Gorilon and M'Bour, in their categories, in the IRC, One50 + and One25 + classes in a test that had the north-east wind of 8 to 10 knots (Photo José Capello)
The Santander- Getxo Regata was held in canteen and viscaine waters organized by the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club, with the collaboration of the Real Club Marítimo de Santander, saw as winners the Gorilón de Emigdio Bedia, the M'Bour de Carlos Sánchez and the Yamamay de Javier Gallo, which reigns in the Cantábrico.
The Gorilon was imposed on One50 + with an inverted time of 6 hours and 42 minutes in the 38 miles of tour, with low wind exit in Santander. The north-east wind of 8 to 10 knots later accompanied the crews, with the Aizen of Gustavo Arce, also Santanderino, second, and the Thelonious vizcino of Jon Garai in the third square. The Galea, Andarax Bi, Swing, Go Blue, Kraken, Mylla, Alalunga, Marieta, El Pendo Camargo and Spacetime were then classified.
In One25 + he won the M'Bour of Carlos Sánchez (7 hours and 44 minutes), after which he classified the Kohen of Ander Estefanía and the Ziggy Stardust of Juan Fernández- Cosero. Blai, Patuelas, Tripontzi and Loeiz completed the list of this class. On the other hand, in Cruciero IRC won the Yamamay of Javier Gallo - the absolute winner - followed by the Turi patroniado by Miguel Arriola, the Alpega of Alfonso Churruca, the Symphony of Javier Onaindia, the Ramper of Jairo López de Guevara, the Emilu of Lucio Fernández, with the withdrawal of the Maitena. This test scores for the Interclub Trophy among the organizing entities.
