The second stage of the SoloMed begins, heading for Barcelona

Nicolo Gamenara leads the SoloMed, in which they compete exclusively mini 6.50 meters, with authority after a record first stage... the second stage presents a unique challenge with four possible routes, offering the sailors a changing and exciting stage... with the ongoing competition, the forecasts estimate that the fleet will reach Barcelona around May 17, promising an exciting end for this SoloMed stage.

The second stage is divided into two parts. The first will be the return to Formentera and Eivissa. The second part can be defined between 4 possible routes that will be decided on the basis of the weather and will be communicated to the fleet at the pass of the first regatist by Sa Ràpita, where a pass control is prepared and the entire fleet will make an obligatory scale after Eivissa. The four routes can be very different, two passing between Mallorca and Menorca and two between Mallorca and Eivissa to go directly to Barcelona or passing through the Columbretes Islands. A decision on the route will be made within the next two days. It is estimated that they will arrive in Barcelona around May 17.

The Swedish-flag Artemis Racing of Torbjorn Tornqvist, was imposed on three of the four trials held on Saturday and was first placed on the 44 Cup Baiona, which organizes the Mount Real Club of Yates under the sponsorship of Galicia Tourism... the Team Nika of Monaco and the Black Star Sailing Team of Switzerland complete the provisional podium in second and third position in the absence of a single day for the end of the competition... on the other hand it was a good day for the Spanish Calero Sailing Team, which added a second and third in the first two sleeves of the day.

Quinta da Lamosa Ecotourism of Joao Pedro Serodio wins in Leixóes
