These are the data collected in the "Report of the market for recreational craft. Enero-April 2024," edited by ANEN from the data provided by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy
The nautical market has recorded a total of 1,540 registration of recreational boats between January and April 2024, 351 records less than those made in the same period last year and which mainly affect the segments of nautical motorcycles and vessels up to 8 meters in length.
Of the total number of vessels registered until April, 63.5% are for private-use vessels and 36.5% (561 records) are for vessels intended for nautical charter which, after the boom of 2023, is stabilized with data similar to those of 2022.

By length
Water bikes and smaller boats, up to 6 metres, are still the most affected by the decline in enrolment, with a 22% drop in this year's accumulated. Intermediate length segments, from 8 to 16 meters, also continue to lose enrollment but less accentuated than in the previously computed period. The ships over 16 meters maintain good behavior and grow by 33% until April this year.

Enrolment by province
In the energy period - April of this year, the Balearic Islands return to positive data with two more enrollments than those recorded in the same period last year (+ 0.60%).
On the northern coast, a Coruña, whose registration of recreational boats is growing by + 30%, Cantabria (+ 28%), Asturias (+ 23%) and Vizcaya (+ 11%), are still positive.
In the charter marketIt is worth noting the growth of enrolment for this use in A Coruña, Cantabria and Asturias, Granada, Almería, Girona, Valencia and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
