The third edition of the Solo Med begins in Barcelona

Today a total of 24 sailors have started their participation in the third edition of the "Solo Med" race of the class Mini 6.50. This competition, organized by the Federació Catalana de Vela in collaboration with Barcelona Capital Nautica, the Club Náutico de Sa Rápita (Mallorca), Base Mini Barcelona and the Class Mini, will cover from May 6 to May 17 a total of 700 nautical miles across the Mediterranean, embracing the coasts of Barcelona, the Balearic Islands and the Valencia Community. The route of the single Med 2024 is divided into two stages: the first 200 miles from Barcelona to Mallorca and the second 500 miles from Mallorca, surrounding the Pitiusas Islands and the Columbretes Islands to Barcelona.
