Sete Benavides has decided to announce his retirement from professional sport after a career full of successes in which he has achieved

After 20 years I have made the decision to put an end to my sports career. A very nice stage is closed and I open another one in which I will remain linked to the Pyragüism, which is the sport that has given me everything, Sete says in the farewell video.

The Spanish palist has won 26 international medals, highlighting his Olympic bronze in London 2012 in C1 200. A success he could not enjoy on the London podium, but he could taste with his people ten years later.
