The calendar of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club is in its most interesting phase. This is indicated by the arrival of the classic Regata to the Inversa-BBVA, which returns to the Vizcaina waters of the Abra as every first of May. This is a very special competition in the world of sailing in the Cantabrian, as it has become one of the most tiring tests and is always one of the days marked in red by the regatists and crews to navigate, enjoy and pursue victory on a traditional date.

60 cruises on the first of May from 1.45 p.m. with the compensated time of start... which already makes the competition real-time... the one that comes first: wins. In Galicia, several editions of the hand of Corum Beneteau were organized, with the name of Regata contra Clock... and in the waters of Valencia and Cataluna was Metromar the sponsor between Cambrils and Tortosa.

The Tchin Tchin by José Luis Ribed and Juan Ignacio Gomeza was third on the podium three minutes and twenty seconds from the winner. Then came the Symphony, Alpega, Go Blue, Lasai, Boreal, Kiwi and Despeinado, which completed the 'top ten' of a Inverse Regata-BBVA that always raises much expectation.
