The III Engel & Völkers Trophy, organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, completed its second day in the Vizcaina waters, which also coincided with the Basque Championship of the J80 division.
After the tour that could be held for the J80, as was also the case on the first day, the young rural Kutxa of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte, patroned by Nicolás Viar, was imposed. Second after the leader was the Biobizz of José Azqueta, which jumps to the second square of the classification, with the Fingolfin of Gonzalo-varri now third. This Sunday the Basque J80 Championship is diluted with the Rural Kutxa as the best located crew to get the title.
On the other hand, the ships of the Regata and Cruise class, after not scoring in the initial day of the III Trophy Engel & Völkers two weeks ago because of the absence of wind, were not too lucky as among those of the Regata class they only scored the Alpega of Alfonso Churruca and the Rat Pack of Javier-varri, which completed the nine miles of journey. In Cruise, the Nexus of Javier Trueba appears as first, the only one who pointed out. The final day of this 3rd Engel & Völkers Trophy will take place on May 11.
