The Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club has presented its 2024 race calendar... on this occasion, the high-level tests are maintained, such as this next weekend the Basque J80 Championship, with the participation of the best monotypes of this class in the Cantabrian, and the Inversa-BBVA race of the first of May.

Then, in June, it will be the turn of the Getxo-Santander, to which will follow the thirty-ninth Championship of Bizkaia of Crucieros- Lurauto that is disputed on June 8 and 9, already with Asturian ships and cantabros also on the list of participants.

Then, the 19th Surne- 59th Eskarra Trophy (June 22), one of the most traditional races of the Club de Las Arenas, arrive, and in July the 33rd edition of the EKP Regata Costa Vasca - the Golden Whale Trophy that runs through the Basque ports. A new and spectacular Match Race test is also scheduled.

To the Getxo- Gijón Regata of August will be added at the end of the summer the Copa Castro, which is one of the oldest trophies in Spain at the date of 1907. The fifth edition of the International Women's Cup, which also coincides with the end of the Iberdrola Women's League, is held in October. The Club de Las Arenas is one of the drivers of the rise of female navigation.

The El Correo and Dental Clinic Carmen Parra precede the famous Regata del Gallo, the massive test that closes each year, like this one of 2024, a complete calendar. The 3rd Engel & Völkers Trophy is currently being developed.

Already in the light sailing mode, in which the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club is turned with a School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte that dates from 1991, the Trophy José Luis Azqueta has been organized and for September is scheduled the emblematic Trophy José Luis de Ugarte, which reaches its 34th edition with about 200 regatists in the waters of the Abra, the field of races of the tests of Cruises, J80 and light sailing. Before, on August 31 and September 1, the fourth edition of the Juan Manuel Alonso- Allende Trophy of the Snipe class is held, with the presence of the best specialists.

The Bizkaia Championship, the Ramon Real Trophy of Asúa and the Christmas Trophy - St. John's. George's British International School Bilbao are other light candle tests. In addition, the regatists of this School take part in different quotes from both the Basque League and national in several Spanish championships and level tests in other waters. The Digital Nautical Trophy, the Astobiza Trophy, the Erecacho-Say Languages Trophy and the OptiGetxo have already been held.
