Aida surprises Bribon and Titia in the 2nd Series of the 6m League in Sanxenxo
Aida of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña de Francisco Boots and patronized by Javier de la Gandara was surprised to take the second series of the League of 6 Meters in Sanxenxo, overcoming the two great favorites, the pontevedreses Bribon and Titia, both of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, who have dominated the last year... in a competition marked by the alternation in the podium positions, the Aida shone with two first positions, including the final race of Sunday, placing itself as a serious candidate for the League and presenting itself in the contest for the European contender.
The provisional general classification shows a fierce competition, with the first five ships separated by just seven points. The Bribon of the RCN of Sanxenxo leads the table, followed closely by the Titia, also from the same club. The Aida de La Coruña is located in the third position, just two points from the second place, following the impressive results obtained in the second series.
The triple tie in the fourth place between the Romanian ship Essentia, the Alibaba II of Baiona and the Ian, patrolling on this occasion by the Olympic Silvia Mas, reflects the intense competition that is being experienced in the League of 6 Meters this year.

Lorenzo Cerretelli and Mònica Azón, continental champions of the EuroILCA Master of Calella de Palafrugell
In this edition of Master 2024 the victories achieved by Lorenzo Cerretelli and Mònica Azón last year are repeated, and today they have strengthened their leadership in this very hard day, fighting against wind, waves and rivals, recrowned as absolute winners. Without a doubt, this last day, the strong wind has been a special protagonist, a circumstance that has favored the most resistant regatists and that will rise in the first positions of today's arrivals, as has been the case of the Olympic, gold in Seul '88 in the Finn class, Josele Doreeste, which has signed two consecutive victories and is located in the second square (21 points) in the Final General Classification in Ilca7. Also in Ilca the strong wind has marked the results. Mònica Azón, proclaims indisputable winning with 23 points, covering today good results of 4 + 14, which increased the differences with its closest adversaries. The second one has been the Dutch Freek de Miranda, which, with partials of 7 + 8, has set its classification with 32 points... the best Spanish classified has been Xavier Boluda. The race for the iQFoil, Techno, Windsurfer, Raceboard, Ilca4 and Ilca7 classes is closed in Valencia
The Real Club Náutico de Valencia closes its Royal Club Náutico de Valencia de Vela Ligera for the Windsurf and ILCA classes, being valid for the Autonomous Cup of the Federation of Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana. It does so in compliance with the program planned by the organizing committee of six tests for all classes: Techno, Windsurfer, Raceboard and ILCA 4 and 7, while iQFoil are fired with seven.
In the iQFoil class of Jávea: Jorge Momparler does so in the SUB17 and José Luis Boronat in Absolute. The SUB19 the two titles of Pau Hernández for the Nautico of Valencia.
In the Techno, Jorge Brotons (RCN Torrevieja) proclaims champion in the SUB15, although he concludes with 10 points, the same ones he has obtained Santiago Puigmoltó (CW Spanish French). In females the podium sent Concepción Montesinos (RCN Torrevieja). In SUB17 Valencian color on the podium with Ávaro Suardiz and Ángel Escudero, gold and silver respectively. The bronze travels to Torrevieja by the hand of Nicolay Ramírez... the champion in this category has been Elena Castellot (CN Los Nietos).
As for the Plus podium with Hugo Griñán as the absolute champion, followed by Rubén Pomares (CN Alicante Costa Blanca) and Beltrán García (CN Windsruf Spanish French).
Rafael Ros remains unstoppable in the Raceboard. The second place of the general has been for the Bat Humberto Martínez (CN Los Nietos) although the Valencian regional place has been for the Carlos Reyes del Patrol... bronze for Marc Leutscher (RCR Alicante).
Pablo Martí (RCN Valencia) has managed to retain at home the two titles: champion in the Windsurfer fleet category A, while Álvaro Barba (CV Valencia Mar) does in the B.
In the Ilca7 fleet the RCN of Valencia has acquired a slight advantage, in terms of being a protagonist already in the two category has had a representative. In Absolute the title is for Adolfo Virgil (RCR of Alicante), silver for Pablo Bellver (RCN of Valencia) and bronze is hanged by Tadeo Samordodny, also from the Sicantine club. In the SUB19, along with Bellver, they go to the Adriana Castro (RCN Torrevieja) and Guillermo Suárez (CN Altea) drawer.
Enrique Ferrando (RCN Valencia) holds the title in the Ilca4 SUB18, followed by Guillem Balaguer, from the same club, and Leo Griñán (RCN Torrevieja). In Blanca Ferrando, of the RCN of Valencia, it is proclaimed champion, followed by the Elsa Rodado (RCR Cartagena), although the silver medal in the regional is for Lara Rondali of the club headquarters, while the bronze is for Clara Sphie (CN Altea).
In the SUB16 Leo Griñán is hung gold, silver Javier Bellver (RCN Valencia) and Carlos Sánchez (RCR Alicante) bronze. It should be noted that the second square, RCNV Trophy, has been for the bat Ignacio Ros (CN Los Nietos).
