New horizons for the Star of Levant Regatta with the long end in Murcia

The Regata Estrella Levante 2024 begins a new path, doing so with the presentation of the cruise race, organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Torrevieja and held between 27 and 28 April 2024. The classic cruise race will welcome another year to the best cruise fleet in the south of the Valencia Community and the best representatives of the Murcia Region. 50 cruises are expected.

The Torreviejense citation, which has the support and collaboration of the Club Náutico Marina Internacional de Torrevieja in this edition, is again presented with fans for the fleet. In addition to the prestigious Star of Levante brewery trophy for the winners of the class ORC and Division 2, the fleet of the Community will have the opportunity to score in the Autonomical Cup of Cruises organized by the Federation of Sailing of the Valencia Community, as well as having the fleet Sportboat, invited to the race.

The Mount Real Yates Club inaugurates its heavy sailing season with the CdeC Trophy

The Mount Real Club of Yates inaugurates its past sailing season, with the Trophy CdeC, which will be held in a single day... with the peculiarity of having two simultaneous sleeves: one with beginning in the river of Pontevedra... and one in Vigo... so that each can choose the route in question. They are composed of ORC Cruises, A2 Cruises and J80 monotypes.

The CdeC Trophy includes two different tests with different classifications and prizes, as the distance to go will also be different. While the ships that leave from Commud will have to face about 22 miles away (passing through the Ons, the Cies and the beacons of La Negra and Carallones), the Vigo will have only 15 (with a route still to be defined that will depend on the weather of the day).

It will be at least 50 ships that compete... mostly in ORC Cruises, mainly in the category of ORC... case of Oils April of the Pérez Canal brothers, the Magic of Julio Rodríguez or the Deep Blue 2.1 of Vicente Cid; ships of Mount Real such as the Yess Too of Rui Ramada or the Unus of Luis García Trigo; and other clubs such as the Bouzas the Maritime Liceo of Bouzas, represented by the Salao or the Ay Carmela, among others. All of them will leave from Vigo, while from Commud will leave crews such as those of the Javi Pérez Orion, the Narval of José Antonio Portas or the Balea Dous of Luis Pérez, among others.
