The School of Sailing of Alocén in the province of Guadalajara organized a windsurfing technology clínic.

The activity was organized by the Federation of Vela de Castilla la Mancha and had the main objectives of the technical and sports progression of the young regional windsurfers of the form of boards to sail... the federal sports activity, was included among the many events included this year under the name: Castilla-La Mancha European Region of Sport 2024. The importance of transmitting knowledge and values to the new generations of Sailing and Windsurfing sportsmen and the possibility of holding such meetings among young sportsmen from Castilla la Mancha was undoubtedly the main objective in the convening of this clinic and technical training. A total of 20 athletes from different nautical clubs in Castilla la Mancha participated in this formative activity, the ages of which were from the n8 to the 23 years and the high number of female representatives. Among the attendees were young windsurfers of the Club Deportivo Orillas de Alocén de Guadalajara and the Club Watersports of the Toledan town of Cazalegas.

Flying catamarans return to the Minor Sea in 2024 with two ETF26 circuit tests

The Minor Sea is once again a protagonist in the international circuit of flying catamarans of the ETF26 class. After the success of the tests carried out in the last season, the calendar of this competition returns to the Region of Murcia with two new great prizes. The first of the races in 2024 will be the Grand Prix Costa Callida, which will be held from 16 to 19 April and will serve as a starting point for the competition. The second of the races, which will close the calendar for this season, will be the Grand Prix Los Alcázares from November 20 to 23. The extraordinary conditions of the Minor Sea for navigation make it an ideal place for this sports practice. Other ETF26 stations in 2024 are: Hyères (France), Malcesine (Italy) and Quiberon (France).

A total of eight vessels from France, Great Britain, Denmark, Italy and New Zealand are planning to compete in the first Grand Prix Costa Callida race. Among the participating regatists will be the legendary French navigator Franck Cammas; Nicolas Sehested, patron of the Danish SailGP team; Olivia Mackay, regatist of the Emirates New Zealand of Copa America; and Manon Audinet, of the French Orient Express.
