The captain of La Peregrina Javier Babé is dead in the heart of the Astrolabe challenge

Javier with the astrolabe before leaving for the New World... dies aboard Pilgrim when he sailed 420 miles from the Desperate 12 days after leaving La Gomera
At 04: 00 in the morning (local time), 420 miles east of Guadalupe Island, three days away from the destination, Captain Javier Babé went into heart crisis, dying at 14: 00 (local time), as a result of congestive heart failure.
When the heart failure occurs in the early morning, it is determined to abandon the purpose of the "Astrolabe challenge," and help is requested from Salvamento Marítimo, using the satellite phone of the ship.
On-board cardiologist Antonio Grandío managed to stabilize the captain, who regained consciousness, while deciding to evacuate the ship. A call from an American cruise took place shortly after, to establish a meeting point and to establish the evacuation of the captain. Right at that moment, there was the death of Javier Babé, the captain of La Pilgrim.
