Mateo Carbonell stands out in the head of the Equalite Nautical Week of Alicante of Optimist
The second day of the Equalite Nautical Week of Optimist was complete, where three tests could be held in each of the two groups, and after which the Alicantino Mateo Carbonell (CN Jávea) was placed leader in solo and with a three-point advantage over his club partner, Arthur Baker, who is second and four on the Catalan Juan Lleonart (CN El Balís), who is third.
After an inaugural day in which only a test could be disputed due to the loose wind and fog that entered half a day off the rising coast, in this second day the Regatas Committee was able to complete three tests, thus the fleet could already rule out its worst position, and many of them breathe after the 51 black flags of the first day. Besides that this Tuesday, the last day of the Equalite Week Nautical, the fleet will be divided into the Golden Group, which will fight for the podium and the Silver Group.
