Bernat Cortés repeats as Spanish champion of Formula Kite
The Asian Maximilian Maeder and Chenxue Liu were the open winners
The Catalan rider Bernat Cortés (CN El Balís) has proclaimed himself the Spanish champion of the Formula Kite class in the waters of Los Alcázares (Murcia), thus revalidating the title obtained in 2023 in the Bay of Palamós. In the female category the Spanish champion's plate was for Adelaide Marquenie (Club Kitesurf Centro). In the General Open classification the victory was for the singapoureño Maximilian Maeder in male category and the Chinese Chenxue Liu.
A total of 67 Riders, 50 males and 17 females participated, although the championship was Open, only the national regatists, 14 men and 2 women, were elected for the Spanish championship.
The podium of the Spanish Championship of Palamós was repeated, with victory for Bernat Cortés, who was the great dominator from beginning to end, followed by the seven vences national champion Alex Climent (Marina El Portet) and third was Jacobo Espí (CV Valencia Mar). In Open they were left sixth, tenth and tenth respectively. In the female category the Spanish champion's plate was for Adelaide Marquenie.
