The spectacular Claitre de Sant Bonaventura de Llucmajor hosted the official presentation of the 470 World Championship, which will bring together 64 teams of 27 nationalities at the Nàutic S'Arenal Club until March 3... in competition will be 64 crews of 27 countries, including the team that will represent Spain at the 2024 Paris Games: the Jordi Xammar- Nora Brugman tandem... to highlight the presence of the Japanese Keiju Okada- Miho Yoshioka (champions 2023) and the German Luise Wanser-Philippons (2022). The event will choose the last Olympic squares of the 470 class for Africa, South America, North America and Europe.
The sleeves start on Monday, February 26, with the official training race. Points will be distributed at 12: 00 on Tuesday, February 27. After three days of qualifying races and two days of Final Series, the top ten teams will decide the title at the Medal Race on the sixth and last day of competition, on Sunday, March 3.

The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante has led a solidarity campaign that has ended with the collection of 1200 euros to improve the stay of the children of the Hospital Pedagogical Unit (UPH) of the General University Hospital Dr. Balmis de Alicante.
The delivery took place in the same pedagogical space and was attended by Miguel López, president of the legendary Alicantino club and Cristina Peydró, as well as María José Vidorreta and Marisa Ibáñez, the three medical staff of the said hospital.
The Real Club de Regatas de Alicante launched this solidarity initiative on December 23, coinciding with the 57 edition of the Nautical Week of the rowing and fishing disciplines held at the club's facilities. To this end, a solidarity market was set up at the headquarters of the nautical club where, both regatists and members and workers of the club contributed their granite of sand with the acquisition of nautical material that he had exposed at the solidarity stand.
