The Catalan sailing community met today at the BISC for the announcement of the collaboration agreement between the Barcelona Capital Nautical Foundation (FBCN) and the Catalan Sailing Federation (FCV). The aim of both entities is to encourage the growth of the practice of sailing in our country, making it more inclusive, training the new generations and supporting and promoting athletes and competitions with the support of the network of clubs throughout Catalonia.

In a key year for sailing and nautical in Catalonia, and even at the state level... that is preparing for the celebration of the 37 America's Cup, FBCN and FCV want the passion for this sport and for the sea to reach all, but above all they want that beyond 2024, this link will continue to grow and that the legacy left by the American Cup will be that of an undeniable country linked to the sea, where the practice of sailing will be much more widespread.

In this favourable context, Barcelona Capital Nautica and the Catalan Vela Federation are engaged in a cooperation agreement that, in addition to promoting the sailing, will serve to weave networks between the nautical community and value the work of clubs, athletes and a whole sector that is more united than ever.
