The three-weekend tests, one of February and two of March, will be those that decide the final winners of the Guadalimar Trophy - Say Languages of Light Sailing, organized by the Royal Abra Maritime Club - Real Sporting Club in the Optmiss, ILCA, FEVA, 420 and Snipe classes.
Since the early months of this year 2024, the Club de Las Arenas has organized a day of navigation at its School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte, which continue this weekend, after the celebration of the successful OptiGetxo, with a competition that serves to increase in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra the hobby for the sailing among the younger. After the Abra was populated with Optimist vessels a few days ago, this Guadalimar-Say Languages Trophy will allow further progress in the development of the regatists of the future.
This championship will feature the scores of the former Erecacho Trophy. For the moment, the leader in the Optimist 1 class is Nicolás Bastard, who was imposed on the OptiGetxo Regate. In Optimist 2 is the first Mariana Arriola. Aketx Otxarri is the first regatist in ILCA 6 and Óscar Gómez and Arantza Viñas lead the classification in the Snipe class. Meanwhile, Pablo Oraá and Fran Lenz are first in FEVA and Jon Berástegui and Vera Aguirre in 420.
