White day at the iQFOiL World Cup in launch waters

The Regatas Committee spent hours in the water, making measurements and following the evolution of a wind that has not come to blow with the minimum intensity necessary to give out the tests, so the beginning of this first World of the Lanzarote International Regatta 2024, that of iQFOiL, was postponed for today, Tuesday morning.

The 94 women and 118 men who made up the fleet were in the water after 11: 00 island hour. "There were conditions to be able to make slalom-type races, with about seven and eight knots of wind, sometimes nine, but just before the warning signal the wind died so we could not start any tests," said Chief Officer Ewa Jodlowska.
