The J80 Biobizz, patronized by José Azqueta of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, has proclaimed itself the absolute winner of the J80 Sailing Series Finals Trofeo Ciudad da Coruña, which has organized the Real Club Nautico Coruñés and the Organizing Committee of the Abanca Week; which has put an end to the 2023 edition of which it is reference, as a multinational event at national level...

After starting the first weekend of September and holding 16 events in Cortegada, Castrelo de Miño, Fornelos de Montes, Bouzas and Canido in Vigo, Marín and the city of La Coruña, with a participation of more than 2500 athletes, belonging to the disciplines of children's sailing, light sailing, heavy cruise sailing, single-type sailing, wakeboard, nautical skiing, sea kayak, pyragüismo-dragons and traditional rowing.

The end in coruñese waters was tremendous and with such a few different participants that it brought the uncertainty to their own strangers. It is worth the fact that after holding the Regular League with four full rounds on Saturday day, three santanderine crews (Free Zone, Fredo Estrella del Norte and Solintal) and a vineyard (the Getxo Biobizz) reached the final round in a handkerchief.

In the final four sleeves were held... as many as different ships had the organizers, so that each finalist crew, "tested" the J80 available in the grand final... and the height of equality in the competition, was that the four crews concluded the first three rounds with three of them with 18 points and the remaining one, the one who patrolled Pichu Torcida... the North Star Fredo with 19.

In the sea good conditions of wind and sea, with a south that moved between the 12 and the 16 knots... being Biobizz the one that took the cat into the water, pointing to a victory that strengthens the great palmarés of José Azqueta, son of which was historic comandoro and then president of the Spanish Sailor Cathedral, the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sportjing Club, in the 1980s-90... in which the Basque club regained the prestige of ancero and was set in marc ha the José Luis de Ugarte School, authentic viverero de la vanca.

After Azquete, Ignacio Camino (Solintal), Torcida (Fredo Estrella del Norte) and Madrazo (Zona Franca) complete the first four places... with an extraordinary equality, which prays the just of these crews will reach the great end.

Then the Valencians of the Iser Dosia, the Vascos of the Hublab, the Etnia of Barcelona, Marías de Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona, Matrako de Castro Urdiales, Vissi de Las Arenas, Kotablue de La Coruña and the girls from which Decoexsa de San Sebastián... regated with quality and power.
