Spain makes history with its second place in Abu Dhabi's Sail GP competitions

The Spanish team of SailGP was close to repeating in Abu Dhabi the victory obtained in Los Angeles at the beginning of season 4. Only New Zealand was able to take away Spain's victory. The four Spaniards who have competed on board the F50 Victoria have been Diego Botin (pilot), Florian Trittel (wing timer), Joel Rodríguez (flight controller) and Nicole van der Velden (strategist). The Spain SailGP Team confirmed on the waters of Mina Zayed that it is known to drive in low wind conditions... the next meeting of SailGP will be the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix, on 24 and 25 February, in the emblematic waters of the port of Sydney.

Without wind in the Abra de Vizcaya, on the first day of the Erecacho Trophy - Say Light Sailing Languages

The Erecacho-Say Light Sailing Languages Trophy, organized by the Royal Abra Maritime Club - Real Sporting Club, suffered from a lack of wind at its beginning in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra. In this way, the Committee of Regatas had to override the first routes planned in the different classes, waiting for the young regatists of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte to sail on the following days of this Trophy: January 20 and February 3.
